Guest Instructor Shaniqua Ford

LCSW is a group practice owner in the state of Illinois. She earned her MSW from the University of Chicago. Shaniqua has over 10 years of experience holding space for folx within ministry and professional training through transition, loss and grief. As a spiritualist and therapist she helps folx utilize their faith traditions to cultivate healthy healing rituals to navigate both physical and ambiguous grief.

Executive Director Candice Creasman Mowrey

PhD, LCMHCS - Dr. Candice Creasman Mowrey received a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008, and a Doctorate in Counseling and Counselor Education from North Carolina State University in 2015. She has worked in psychosocial rehabilitation, in-patient, community agency, disability services, and intensive outpatient settings. She founded Creasman Counseling, PLLC, a single-person private practice, in 2011, which has grown to a team of over 30 culturally and professionally diverse clinicians. Dr. Creasman Mowrey has been adjunct faculty at NCSU and Northwestern University and has provided clinical supervision since 2014.

Counselors

Creasman Counseling PLLC's courses meet the qualifications for CE hours as required by NBCC. Beyond Therapy has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP #7234. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Creasman Counseling, PLLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.

Social Workers

Creasman Counseling, PLLC, provider number 2100, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.
